Paisley is an unincorporated community and census-designated place of 980 residents at the 2020 census, on the southern edge of the Ocala National Forest, seventeen miles northeast of Eustis and sixteen miles west of DeLand.

A post office has operated here since 1886 and the community is named after Paisley in Scotland. It was part of Orange County until Lake County was created on July 27, 1887.

It is the closest community to Boy Scout Camp La-No-Che on the north shore of Lake Norris.
